Explore The Practice™ and Rediscover Your Resilience
Learn [these 3 key things] that immediately help you find support and nourishment
A free class with Gina Carlson
(alt: A free introduction to Biology of Being)
Do you find that things that used to be manageable now take more effort? That pushing through isn't working anymore? Many of us were taught that success is built on overriding your limitations and relying on endurance but at some point, this strategy just doesn't work anymore.
This isn’t a personal failure and has nothing to do with your discipline, intelligence, or drive. These repeated requests for your nervous system to do more than it was designed come with a price. Sustained activation of the stress response has long-term costs to energy, clarity, and self-trust.
In looking for solutions, positive thinking alone doesn't stabilize a stressed system. These daily pressures disregulate both our bodies and our minds and we need a wholistic approach that meets the fullness of our being. That's why I developed The Practice™.
This technique combines:
- physical load and movement
- nervous system regulation
- attention and perception training
- future-oriented rehearsal
In this free class there's no need to perform or to get it right. Just come immerse yourself in a supportive environment and experience a shift toward recalibration — restoring the internal conditions for clarity, choice, and forward movement.

About the Founder

Biology of Being® was founded by Gina Carlson Hays.
Gina's work began in the 1990s, long before nervous-system regulation entered mainstream conversations. It developed through years of hands-on exploration at the intersection of mind, body, breath, movement, and high-stakes performance.
Gina’s approach emerged during years of searching for language, theory, and support that could meet the lived experience of anxiety and self-doubt under pressure. Unable to find practitioners or frameworks working directly with nervous-system regulation in real time, she began developing what was missing — body-grounded methods that could reorganize the nervous system, creating safety, clarity, and confidence when it mattered most.

More About The Practice™
The Practice™ trains regulation in the presence of pressure.
Demand is introduced — and the nervous system is guided to stay internally organized rather than overridden.
Capacity builds from there.
This is how clarity becomes reliable under load.
Not by avoiding pressure, but by learning how to stay coherent inside it.
What Happens in a Session
Each session combines:
- physical load and movement
- nervous system regulation
- attention and perception training
- future-oriented rehearsal
The system is engaged, not protected.
Guided, not pushed.
You meet demand.
You notice what changes when regulation is trained while demand is present.
What People Often Notice Over Time
As this work is trained consistently, people often report:
- greater steadiness under pressure
- clearer perception while demand is present
- decisions that come forward with less doubt
- a return of self-trust
Not because anything is added —
but because the system learns how to stay coherent while load is real.
How the Practice™ Fits the Larger Arc
The Practice™ lives inside Reset to Reinvent™.
It functions as a monthly rite of integration — where what’s been learned in weekly labs is forged into lived capability.
This is where insight becomes embodied.
Where regulation, choice, and forward movement are trained together.
Who the Practice™ is For
The Practice™ is for people navigating sustained demand who:
- feel mentally capable but internally strained
- notice reactivity where there used to be choice
- sense that pushing harder no longer works
- want clarity they can rely on under pressure
It is especially relevant if you’re moving through change and need internal stability before forward movement.
What You Don’t Need To Do
You don’t need to perform.
You don’t need to get it right.
You don’t need prior experience.
You show up.
You follow the guidance.
You let the system train.
An Entry Point
For many people, The Practice™ is the first place they feel the shift.
Not because life becomes easier —
but because internal signal becomes clearer.
From there, capacity builds.
And choice becomes available again.
