What Is Biology of Being?
The Biology of Being explores body language as a master mode of communication and creative force for making a difference in the world.
The body's language is sensation-based. This Somatic Intelligence is a form of embodied cognition where the body plays a significant role in shaping our thoughts and emotions. Body language is an expression of the FELT SENSE. It is non-literal, highly intelligent, and communicates easily with the mind.
Consider the science that 93% of all communication is not through words, but through vocal tone, cadence, body movement, and breath display. The Biology of Being guides us to open our focus to include what’s being communicated beyond words. It is a creative process for developing our perceptivity and deep embodied listening.
A common misperception in our collective personal development journey is that our bodies are objects to overcome, fuel, take us from here to there, and maintain through rest and exercise. We train, alter and contort our bodies to compete, act, or look a certain way. In the process, we misunderstand or mistreat our bodies without even realizing the vital foundation our bodies are for our life on earth.
Objectifying our body to achieve our goals can be effective in the short term, but it isn't sustainable, eventually leading to breakdown. It’s also self-limiting considering that the body, the “FELT SENSE,” is highly communicative, intelligent, and available as a trusted partner and devoted servant to what we want to cause in life.
Most humans are unaware that their bodies communicate through their senses. Inadvertently, they become disconnected from this Inherent Intelligence. Biology of Being teaches us how to slow down inside to receive, digest, and metabolize the stream of information-rich language constantly arriving via sensation, articulating our self-empowerment and freedom to choose it.
At Biology of Being we empower through sensory exploration and reconnect with the vital resources we need for vibrant health, clear decision-making and heart-centered action toward ourselves and others. Our work begins by building rapport with our body through the FELT SENSE. The FELT SENSE "listens by feeling." Listening by FEELING is instinctive; it is our nature and central to thriving.
The Biology of Being shows us how to use the FELT SENSE to become aware of the LENS through which we see the circumstances of our life. When we do, we begin to unearth the unconscious misinformation that is stored and conditioned in the body in the form of thoughts and feelings.
Those unconscious thoughts and feelings that display as mal-sensorial experiences, trauma, destructive emotions, distorted imagery, brainwashing symbolism, neurosis and stories of victimhood -- drain us, rob us, and leave us sick and tired.
Learning how to drop beneath cognition into the vast domain of our Feeling Body is how we change the lens. Biology of Being is a somatic practice for discovering our lenses, observing any non-productive programs running unconsciously and dissolving them. We use movement, breath, sound and shifting our thoughts to empower those parts of us frozen or shut down by trauma and destructive patterns.
Awareness at the level of the Unconscious Mind is also the Point of Power for creating a VISION for the future. When we ask the question with sincerity, "Who would I need to be to fully embody the version of me I most love being?" It's our FELT SENSE that shows us by feeling itself more. Through feeling like and moving as our future self over and over again we become it NOW.
Biology of Being supports your Future Self through a REHEARSAL workout that develops the cues and prompts that create the physiological changes you need to thrive in your desired future. As you master the FELT SENSE and gain dominion over your inner and outer worlds, you begin to draw events to you that are equal to the deeply embodied, empowered new version of yourself.
The Felt Sense is not a new technology; it's been rediscovered and then repeatedly buried by a 10,000-year-old collective habit of acquiescing to an outer authority model that exists through controlling our bodies in how we move, act, feel, and think.
To be abundant and free creators is our birthright. Still, it requires us to get beyond the automatic habit of deferring to the conditioned response that Outer Authority “knows better than” our Inherent Intelligence.
